The tragedy involving the OSU Basketball Team Plane was a difficult for the entire campus community, as well as Stillwater and the State of Oklahoma.  Two of the young men lost in this tragedy (Daniel and Jared) were past students in my courses, both of whom were bright, pleasant young men fortunate enough to be doing what they loved.  I will never forget them.  I also had met or corresponded with some of the others, so this does hit close to home and makes you think about what is really important.  If there is any sense to be made of this event, we can remember that Heaven has the makings of a good team, as well as the men needed to coach and support the players,  and the broadcast team who build great images for the fans everywhere.  They are all missed and will not be forgotten.
