Research

INTEREST AREAS

My primary research areas are in the following sub-fields in Geography:

  • Applied Urban or Historical Geography

  • Population/Migration Studies

  • Sport/Popular Culture Studies

  • Regional Transportation Studies

  • Regional Studies of the US South or The Great Plains

  • While I have been involved in projects in other areas at times in the past 20 years (including my current involvement with the Oklahoma Wind Power Initiative), I do not consider areas outside of those listed above as within my primary research areas of expertise.
